Sanjay Verma

A filmmaker and storyteller with deep industry experience, Sanjay has served as Censor Board Advisory Member (2022-2024) and General Secretary of the Indian Documentary Producers Association, (2022-2023) bringing creative vision and social impact.

Sanjay is a Business Administration graduate, Director-Writer-Translator-Poet-Documentary/Short Film Maker with over 25 years of experience working on projects with different leading production houses such as RK Swamy BBDO (BBDO – world’s 2nd largest ad agency).

He has been a Films Selection Committee Member at Mumbai International Film Festival 2022 (Documentary/ Short-Films), and a Jury Member at short film festival, Mumbai.

His documentary “The Prime Crime”, promoting plantation, was screened by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. He has written documentaries on Chanakya, Sir Thomas Edison, and Abraham Lincoln, and adapted Hindi versions of English films like KING KONG.

He has authored /translated scripts for Bajaj Electricals, NPCI, Asian Paints, LIC, and HUL, and written over 450+ radio episodes for different brands like Hutchison Essar (Vi). His 9 Hindi books are published in Braille, and he had two eBooks published on Amazon in English & Hindi. He has written couple of TV serial episodes and translated many corporate films, documents etc.
